Private Parties is prices at only $64 per person, making it a great option for families, friends, teams, or small organizations.

If you’ve ever wondered whether your starter is working, struggled to get consistent results, or felt like sourdough is more complicated than it should be, this class replaces confusion with a clear system you can actually repeat.

Led by award-winning baker John Durrant, you’ll work with real dough in real time, learning how to manage fermentation, mix and shape properly, and bake with confidence using the equipment you already have.

You’ll walk away with a no-feed, no-discard culture system, a complete understanding of how to read your dough instead of watching the clock, and a process that fits real life rather than demanding it revolve around baking.

Each session focuses on one bread type—most commonly sourdough, though focaccia, pizza, holiday breads, or specialty breads can be selected—and is adjusted to your group’s experience level, whether beginner or advanced. Pizza classes are available as a premium option due to additional ingredients, preparation, and equipment requirements.

Included in the class are a San Francisco sourdough starter culture, baking tools as appropriate, oven-ready dough for in-class baking, ingredients for your next bake, and a quick-reference guide to reinforce what you’ve learned.

The class is hosted in your home kitchen or another suitable space such as a clubhouse, church, or school, and a mileage fee may apply outside the Coeur d’Alene, Post Falls, and Hayden area.
