A Recipe-Integrated System
This activation method is developed by Breaducation and designed to work smoothly with my core bread recipes. It also works well with most liquid, high-hydration starters.
The written method and structure are copyright-protected.
This is not a trick or shortcut. It is a clear, practical process designed to move from activation to dough mixing without extra steps, waste, or confusion.
At the center of this system is West Coast Sourdough. Karl De Smedt, curator of the World’s Sourdough Library (Saint-Vith, Belgium), has described this culture as “life changing.”
This is the same culture, carefully processed so it can be stored long-term while keeping its ability to ferment.
Because of this, it is classified as Eternal Sourdough.

The activation follows a pattern similar to a 24-hour preferment.
It brings the culture to a healthy, active state, ready to be mixed directly into dough.
This process is designed for same-day use, taking the culture from dried to ready-to-use. While built to pair Specifically with Breaducation recipes, the activated culture can be used wherever an active culture is necessary.
No reset cycles.
No discards.
No separate starter schedule.
Activation, mixing, baking, and long-term culture care work as one continuous process. Each step prepares the next. Nothing is wasted. Nothing is added just for show.
This method is meant for fast culture activation and normal dough mixing.
Once established, the culture can be maintained through regular baking, without separate starter feedings.
