Heating Instructions

For reheating sourdough bread (so it tastes like it just came out of the oven):

Whole Loaf

  1. Preheat oven: 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly wet the crust: run the loaf quickly under water or mist it.
  3. Bake: place directly on the rack for 8–12 minutes.
  4. Optional: last 2 minutes at 425–450°F for extra crust.

Result: crisp crust, warm interior.

Slices

Toaster:
• 1–2 minutes until hot and crisp.

Skillet (excellent method):

  1. Medium heat pan.
  2. Add a little butter or olive oil.
  3. Toast each side 1–2 minutes.

Frozen Bread

  1. Do not thaw.
  2. Bake at 375°F for 15–20 minutes (whole loaf).
